The story- part III

CHAPTER THREE

There was a time when life was a bed of roses. A time of so much laughter, and happiness. A time when there was a father, a mother and two baby sisters whom he adored. That time flew by too quickly. Now, all he remembers of that time is sadness, a sadness so overwhelming it leaves a bitter taste in his mouth.
Bada always knew his father was no saint, but he didn't think the man was the devil himself. He always knew, even at a tender age that life wasn't always a bed of roses. At least that was what his mother told him often. He learnt to expect all kinds of changes, what he didn't learn to do was adapt as quickly as possible so as not to be ruffled.
He was thirteen when his world was flipped downside up. There wasn't much time to hold on to an anchor. No one warned him. It was sudden.
